GIORDANO LONGONI CAMP

The Giordano Longoni Camp can be easily reached in two hours from the HISHINCA Hut. It is located next to the lagoon Hishinca at 5000 meters above sea level. It’s a great place to plan a stop before climbing the peaks around.

PLEASE MIND!

To take advantage of the camp it is necessary to ask for the keys to the manager of the Hishinca Hut. The camp has 18 beds and a fireplace, you need to bring your own food,

  • Bed (night) 70 Soles
  • Basic (night, breakfast) 120 Soles

Vivaque Longoni and Casa Huaripampa

  • Night 60 Soles

Huachucocha Chalets

  • up to 6 persons, 450 Soles (price per night in a medium sized Chalet)
  • up to 12 persons, 550 Soles (price per night in a large sized Chalet)

Extras (snacks, drinks and food) are not included in the boards. The price does not include the entrance fee to the Huascaran National Park (Huachucocha, Huaripampa and Contrahierba are not in the park). Caffeteria and restaurant are available to non guests.

To reach and spend the night in Andean Huts you don’t have to use High Mountain Guides services. If during your stay you want to performe mountain climbing at high altitude it is mandatory, according to the regulation of the Huascaran National Park, to be accompanied by recognized mountain guides. “Refugios Andinos” highly recommend following services:
