Here you can enjoy walks and hikes surrounded by beautiful mountains discovering the beautiful CALLEJON OF CONCHUCO with its archaeological sites.

HOW TO REACH THE HUT FROM THE CITY ‘OF HUARAZ:

Go towards the town of Yungay, continue to the Pass of Portachuelo on a gravel road, passing through the LAGUNA Llanganuco, up to the small town of Yanama. Estimated time: 5 hours by car. Starting from that point there is a walk to the hut for two and a half hours. Transportation: Transport services from Huaraz to Yanama, via Yungay.

  • Bed (night) 70 Soles
  • Basic (night, breakfast) 120 Soles
  • Half Board (night, breakfast y dinner) 180 Soles

Vivaque Longoni and Casa Huaripampa

  • Night 60 Soles

Huachucocha Chalets

  • up to 6 persons, 450 Soles (price per night in a medium sized Chalet)
  • up to 12 persons, 550 Soles (price per night in a large sized Chalet)

Extras (snacks, drinks and food) are not included in the boards. The price does not include the entrance fee to the Huascaran National Park (Huachucocha, Huaripampa and Contrahierba are not in the park). Caffeteria and restaurant are available to non guests.

If during your stay you want to performe mountain climbing at high altitude it is mandatory, according to the regulation of the Huascaran National Park, to be accompanied by recognized mountain guides. “Refugios Andinos” highly recommend following services:
