TRAINING AND EDUCATION PROJECT
High Mountain Helicopter Rescue
An initiative by the Socorro Andino Peruano (SAP) to transform safety in the mountains of Ancash, reducing rescue times and saving lives with specialized air support.
OUR REALITY: EVERY MINUTE COUNTS
Since 2018, the Socorro Andino Peruano has been the first line of response in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash. We have executed successful rescues in extreme conditions, such as the recent operation on Nevado Huascarán.

However, we face a critical limitation: there are no aerial rescue services in Huaraz. Our operations depend on porters and ground evacuations, a process that can take up to 48 hours and compromises the survival of the injured.

THE SOLUTION: TRAINING AT THE HIGHEST INTERNATIONAL LEVEL
To overcome this obstacle, we have created Phase 3 of our evolution project: the first specialized helicopter rescue training in Peru. In collaboration with world leaders like Edy Grange (Aosta Valley, Italy) and IFREMONT (France), we will bring the techniques and protocols that save lives in the Alps to Huaraz.
KEY OBJECTIVES

Advanced Training
To train Peruvian guides, rescuers, and doctors in aerial rescue techniques, mountain medicine, and telemedicine.
Safety Protocols
To implement and standardize evacuation procedures and coordination between pilots, rescuers, and medical personnel.
Operational Coordination
To train the essential synergy for safe and efficient helicopter operations in high mountain environments.
Raising the Standard
To position Peru as a world-class adventure destination with the highest safety standards.
A TRANSFORMATIVE IMPACT
This is the quantum leap we will achieve in our response time. A change that not only protects foreign visitors but also our local communities and citizens, strengthening Peru's image as a safe and prepared destination.
YOUR SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL
The total cost of the project is $60,000 USD. Thanks to our partners, we have already secured a portion in equipment and advisory.
We need to raise between $15,000 and $20,000 USD to cover logistics, international instructor fees, airport taxes, and operational expenses.

A CALL TO STRATEGIC PARTNERS
We invite embassies, ministries, regional governments, municipalities, and the private sector to be part of this transformation. Your brand will be associated with a pioneering project with national and international visibility.
