About Our Company: Eric Albino and his father, Juventino, would be honored to show you the stunning beauty of the Cordillera Blanca mountains. Both Eric and his father are certified mountain guides who have been actively leading trekking groups and expeditions in the Cordillera Blanca for many years, forming a strong and highly experienced team.

Established in 1980 in Huaraz as a family business, the travel agency has been managed by family members ever since. Eric and his father boast impressive careers as mountain guides, combined with over 40 years of management experience in the tourism industry. This multifaceted expertise allows Peru Expeditions Tours to provide exceptional service, as we possess in-depth knowledge on how to properly organize a professional expedition or trek from start to finish.

Juventino was born in 1960 in Huaraz, Peru. At the age of 15, he was introduced to mountaineering by his father while assisting with clients. Since then, his passion for the mountains grew, leading him to earn his international certification as a mountain guide (IVBV-IFMGA-UIAGM) in 1982.

As a co-founder of Peru Expeditions Tours, Juventino continues to lead groups and play a key role in the organization and execution of world-class expeditions and treks. He leads a traditional Peruvian life with his wife in the village of Unchus, on the outskirts of Huaraz. Juventino’s respected reputation and extensive expertise have been fundamental in building Peru Expeditions Tours into the safe, honest, and professional company it is today.

Languages: Quechua, Spanish, basic English, Italian, and French.

Since completing his studies, he has worked extensively with European UIAGM guides, organizing major expeditions in the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Huayhuash. He is currently an active member of the AGMP – UIAGM as a Professional Mountain Guide.

As the General Manager of Peru Expeditions, Juventino has accumulated an immense amount of experience collaborating with international associations and mountain professionals.

Juventino has three children. His eldest son, Eric Albino Lliuya (33), graduated from the same “Peruvian School of Mountain Guides – Casa de Guías CEAM.” Eric has followed in his father’s footsteps, bringing extensive climbing experience from both the Andes and the European Alps to the family business.
